The UNCNGGF “Zero Carbon Public Benefit” online forum will advocate a global green and carbon-free life

August 28 15:56 2023

In August, the Carbon Neutral Global Green Foundation held a “Zero Carbon Public interest online video release conference”. The conference aims to advocate global carbon emission reduction with concrete actions through public welfare projects such as carbon reduction education and training and national low-carbon action measures.

The Carbon Neutral Global Green Foundation has been actively responding to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, leading the world into carbon reduction and green living.

In order to achieve this goal, the Carbon Neutral Global Green Foundation’s “Zero Carbon Public Benefit · Reduce carbon footprint” public benefit activity will be officially launched on the “International Ozone Layer Protection Day” of the United Nations on September 16, leading 193 contracting countries around the world to take low-carbon actions to protect the ozone layer and jointly respond to climate change.

Zero Carbon Public Interest promotes global zero carbon progress

Rising sea levels, floods, droughts, torrential rains… These extreme weather events are encroachment on human living space, causing irreversible damage to the global economy. Saving the earth and coping with climate change are important issues in the world today.

The Carbon Neutral Global Green Foundation (UNCNGGF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting global action to reduce carbon emissions and protect the green environment of the Earth. Through education and publicity, public welfare activities to enhance the global public awareness of climate change and carbon reduction issues and guide their participation, call on people from all walks of life around the world to actively participate in carbon reduction actions, and contribute to the realization of global green environmental protection.

The “Zero Carbon Public Interest Online Video Release Conference” was jointly organized by UNCNGGF and Sustainable Energy Fund. Ambassadors from the United States, Europe, Africa, Asia and the United Nations, as well as diplomats, government officials and artists from other parts of the world, gathered to discuss the future of the planet and convey their determination to actively address climate change.

Low-carbon production enterprises are the inevitable result of development

Carbon neutrality refers to a series of measures to offset or reduce the carbon emissions generated by human activities, such as the burning of fossil fuels, industrial production and transportation and other human activities, will release a large number of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, resulting in global climate change. Over the past few years, more and more businesses have begun to focus on carbon neutrality and include it in their sustainability strategies.

UNCNGGF’s Zero Carbon Fund can be used to support projects in renewable energy, energy efficiency, forest conservation and restoration, carbon capture and storage technologies, and to develop carbon market mechanisms such as emissions trading, carbon taxes, and carbon offsets. Help companies achieve carbon neutrality by reducing or offsetting carbon emissions by investing in renewable energy, improving energy efficiency, and undertaking carbon offset projects.

Carbon neutrality is the core layout of ecological civilization construction

As a new force to promote the global green transformation, the establishment of UNCNGGF is the embodiment of the current global attention to environmental issues. In the future development, UNCNGGF will uphold the simple and moderate, green and low-carbon production and lifestyle, so that the concept of green development will be deeply rooted in the people.

The UNCNGGF has made it clear that carbon neutrality is the core layout of ecological civilization construction, and global carbon neutrality will be fully realized by 2050.

UNCNGGF’s core philosophy is to offset its own carbon footprint by supporting and investing in projects that reduce and absorb the same amount of carbon emissions in order to achieve the goal of reducing net carbon emissions.

This approach can help mitigate climate change in the short term and provide a transition to a low-carbon economy in the longer term. However, carbon neutrality is not a permanent solution and should be combined with emission reduction and other climate action measures to achieve comprehensive climate protection and sustainable development goals.

To this end, the UNCNGGF has set up a special measurement tool for measuring trading and reducing greenhouse gas emissions – carbon credits. Join the zero-carbon volunteers to participate in 9 carbon footprint reduction activities every day to receive carbon credits, which can be used to exchange green equipment, participate in green crowdfunding, forest adoption and protection activities.

In addition, carbon credits are also an important mechanism for carbon trading and emission reduction! Carbon credits can be sold or transferred to other units, for example, to help companies with higher carbon emissions achieve sustainable development and contribute to global emission reduction targets.

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said in the “Journey to Zero Dialogue” that mobilizing businesses, cities, regions and investors to support zero carbon emissions is the top priority to mitigate the environmental crisis and solve the problem of climate change.

Low-carbon life is related to the global sustainable development of human beings, UNCNGGF should start from the small around UNCNGGF, improve carbon reduction awareness, reduce carbon footprint. From now on, join UNCNGGF and answer the call of the United Nations to contribute to the global green transition.
